posted on 11 May10 years of renting, finally pulling the trigger
After 10 years of renting in Bangalore, I'm finally taking the plunge and looking at buying my own place. My landlord just raised rent again, so enough is enough, yaar. I'm checking out DNR Arista Phase 1 and it looks great on paper, but I'm really concerned about the reality post-possession. How often do promised amenities like the clubhouse or sports facilities actually get used, or are they just for show? And what about construction quality after a year or two? Any issues with cracks or seepage? Also, are the maintenance charges typically value for money, or just a black hole?
