Been renting for 10 years now, and I'm totally fed up. Landlord raised rent again, yaar. Finally taking the plunge in Noida Extension. While looking at EMI vs rent math, I found a small but useful tax hack. Most people know about 80C for principal and 24 for interest, right? But did you know stamp duty and registration charges can also be claimed under 80C? It's a one-time thing, but every bit helps with these prices in Sector 137. Also, check if joint ownership helps you both claim interest deduction. Hope this helps someone save a bit.

Yaar, same pinch! Landlord ka toh bas chalta nahi hai, har saal badha dete hain. This 80C stamp duty thing is new to me, thanks for sharing. Noida Extension mein kya rates chal rahe hain abhi? Planning to check out something near Alpha II Greater Noida soon.
