It seems Sector 84 is a mixed bag. The idea of a compact flat after kids move out is great, but the infrastructure and amenities are still catching up. Maybe look at specific projects within Sector 84 that are more developed, or consider other sectors that offer better immediate livability. It's a big decision, don't rush!
Apart from hospitals, what about daily needs? Like good grocery stores, local markets, and decent parks for evening walks? Is Sector 84 self-sufficient or do we have to travel far for everything? Elderly people needs are different.
Haan, sahi keh rahe ho. Grocery ke liye bhi reliance fresh ya easyday jaise bade stores nahi hain close by. Online delivery services kaam aati hain.
Daily needs ke liye abhi bhi thoda struggle hai. There are some local kirana shops and small markets, but for proper hypermarkets or a good selection of fresh produce, you might have to drive towards Sector 83 or further. Parks hain but most are developer-maintained within societies, not large public parks. It's evolving, but very slowly. Baharampur Naya side mein toh abhi bhi sab kuch basic hi hai.
I almost bought a flat in Sector 84 two years ago, but then backed out. Builder ke delays aur amenities ka track record achha nahi laga. Plus, the promised infrastructure (roads, markets) is taking forever to materialize. Meri ek relative ne Basai mein liya hai, kam budget mein achha deal mila aur connectivity bhi better hai. Do your due diligence on the specific builder, bhai.
Sector 84? Are you sure? Thoda isolated feel hota hai abhi. Hospitals ka toh pata nahi but connectivity abhi bhi issue hai. Resale value ka bhi darr hai mujhe. Anyone has info on hospitals near Sector 84?
Totally agree, connectivity is still a pain point for Sector 84. Public transport is almost non-existent. Self-driving is a must.
Resale value ka point valid hai. Current market conditions mein Gurugram mein new supply ka pressure bahut hai, especially in newer sectors. Buyers are still cautious. Maybe wait a bit? Or look into areas with more established social infra.
Hospital ka batau toh Medanta ya Artemis thode door padenge, at least 20-25 mins drive. Nearer options like Yashroop Hospital ya Aarvy Hospital hain but they are smaller setups. For emergencies, I'd say it's not ideal. My parents live near Airport Road and have better access to big hospitals. Consider that aspect seriously, especially after 30 years, health is a priority.
Totally get the compact flat need! Kids gone, space ka kya karenge. Sector 84 looks promising but maintenance kitna expect karein? And is it good for future resale value? Nervous about committing.
Sahi kaha, maintenance is a killer! Mera ek friend Bata raha tha ki uske complex mein 6 Rs/sqft hai. Bohut soch samajh ke lena padega.
Maintenance Sector 84 mein high side pe hai, 4-5 Rs per sqft toh minimum pakad ke chalo. Resale thoda tricky hai abhi, supply bahut hai. Badshahpur side mein shayad better options mil jayenge for resale.
