posted on 6 Apr3BHK upgrade in Noida - Amrapali nightmare stories true?
Currently in a 2BHK in Sector 75, thinking of upgrading. Is the price jump worth it? Already have a home loan so EMI is a big factor. I'm looking at a few Amrapali projects, like Green Valley. But I keep hearing horror stories about delayed possessions. Some folks mentioned they promised amenities that never materialized. Lakhs gone down the drain! Is it worth the risk, even if the price seems right? Or should I just stick with what I have? What does the community think? Anyone had a good (or bad) experience with Amrapali? Let me know!

Amrapali Green Valley mein Phase 2 ka kya scene hai? Anyone has any updates?
Bhai, Noida mein property lena is like playing Russian Roulette. So many shady builders!
Consider the rental yield of your current 2BHK if you decide to upgrade. Can you rent it out for a good price to offset the EMI of the new property?
So, @OP, what are you leaning towards now after hearing everyone's opinions? Still thinking about Amrapali, or looking at other options?
@U17 Which builder did you invest with? Sharing the name might help others avoid the same mistake.
Honestly, stick with what you have. Upgrading is a big decision. Unless you absolutely need the extra space, it's not worth the stress.
I heard the new metro line extension will boost property prices in Sector 78 and 79. Maybe wait and see how that impacts your current property value?
RERA mein complaint file karo if you are facing delays. It's a long process, but it's better than doing nothing.
Before booking anything, visit the site multiple times. Talk to existing residents (if any). Get a feel for the place. Don't rely on brochures and sales pitches.
EMI is a big factor, you're right. Calculate the total cost including interest over the loan tenure. Sometimes, a slightly cheaper property with a longer delay ends up costing more.
Anyone have experience with Supertech? I'm also looking for a 3BHK, but I'm terrified after hearing about Amrapali.
Supertech is also risky, tbh. Their Twin Towers demolition says it all. Better to be safe than sorry.
I'm an NRI and I invested in a 3BHK in Noida Extension 8 years ago. Still waiting for possession! These builders are lootere!
Sector 150 is a good option if you're looking for newer constructions. But prices are higher compared to Sector 75.
I bought a resale in Sector 78 a few years back. Slightly older construction, but everything is functional and I avoided the builder headaches. Maybe consider that option?
Don't fall for the 'price seems right' trap. Amrapali's low prices reflect the risk. You'll end up paying more in the long run with delayed possession and legal battles.
Mera ek friend ka Green Valley mein flat hai. He got possession after 5 years delay! And the amenities are still incomplete. Swimming pool toh bana hi nahi.
Check out ATS projects in Sector 104 or 93A. Slightly more expensive, but reliable. Peace of mind is worth the extra cost, trust me.
Amrapali? Bhai, door raho! I lost 5L booking amount in their Dream Valley project. Possession ka toh door door tak pata nahi.
5L gone?! Oh bhai, that's terrible! Which year did you book?
Exactly! Amrapali is a HUGE risk. Better to stick with established builders, even if they are a bit more expensive.
Sector 75 is already pretty good. Why the upgrade? Is it really worth the extra EMI? Think hard about your budget, dost.
Upgrade is tempting, I agree! But Amrapali? I've heard the same horror stories. Green Valley looks nice in brochures, but ground reality is different.
Haan yaar, brochure mein sab kuch perfect dikhta hai. But check the RERA website for actual completion status.
