posted on 27 MarConfused between Palm Olympia and Sai Upvan. Help!
Currently in a 2BHK in Sector 75, thinking of upgrading. Already have a home loan, so EMI isn't a huge issue. Palm Olympia looks fancy, but the price jump is significant. Is it worth it compared to Sai Upvan? My main concern is carpet area - Palm Olympia seems to advertise a lot but what's usable? Sai Upvan is ready to move, which is a big plus, no risk of delays. Also, which one would be easier to rent out if needed? Honestly not sure if the amenities in Palm Olympia justify the extra cost. What does the community think? Which would you pick if you were in my position?

I think the key question is: how much are you willing to pay for the extra amenities? If you're not going to use them, Sai Upvan is the better choice.
Check the resale value in both societies. That can give you an idea of which one is more desirable in the long run.
My personal experience: I bought a property under construction, and it was a nightmare. Delays, poor construction quality, everything went wrong. I'd never do it again. Ready-to-move is the way to go.
So, what are you leaning towards now? Have you visited both sites recently?
Ultimately, it depends on your priorities. If you value peace of mind and immediate returns, Sai Upvan is the clear winner. If you're willing to take a risk for potentially higher returns and fancy amenities, Palm Olympia might be worth considering.
My friend bought in Palm Olympia. He's constantly complaining about the construction noise and dust. Sai Upvan will be much quieter and peaceful.
If you're planning to rent it out, consider the tenant profile in both areas. Sector 75 generally attracts a good mix of families and working professionals.
Honestly, with the way property rates are rising in Noida, both are good investments. But Sai Upvan gives you immediate returns if you rent it out. Palm Olympia might take longer.
I would say Sai Upvan. Less risk, and you know exactly what you're getting. Plus, the maintenance charges are likely to be lower.
Don't forget to factor in the stamp duty and registration charges! Those can add up quickly, especially for a more expensive property like Palm Olympia.
Good point, U19! People often overlook those hidden costs.
Sector 75 is a good location, but traffic can be a pain during peak hours. Consider that when deciding between the two. Also, check the distance to the nearest metro station from both societies.
I'd pick Sai Upvan. Ready-to-move is a huge advantage. Plus, Sector 75 is already well-developed, so you know what you're getting. Palm Olympia is still under construction, and who knows what the future holds?
RERA registration number check karo for Palm Olympia. See if there are any ongoing complaints against the builder. That's always a good indicator.
Another thing to consider is the builder's reputation. Sai Upvan's builder has a better track record than Palm Olympia's, from what I've heard.
Haan exactly, Noida mein yahi problem hai. So many builders make promises they can't keep.
Palm Olympia's amenities are great, but the maintenance charges are also going to be higher. Have you factored that in? Sai Upvan is more established, so the maintenance might be lower.
I invested in Palm Olympia a few years back. Honestly, regret it. The possession is still delayed, and the builder keeps making excuses. Sai Upvan is a safer bet, especially if you're looking to rent it out quickly.
Possession mila kya, U8? RERA mein complaint file kiya?
Palm Olympia is definitely fancy, but you're right, the price difference is significant. I've heard mixed reviews about the carpet area. Sai Upvan being ready to move is a huge plus, especially these days with all the construction delays. Which floor are you considering in Palm Olympia?
I think you're right to be cautious. Palm Olympia looks great on paper, but check the fine print, especially about the carpet area. Builders often inflate those numbers. Sai Upvan, on the other hand, is a known quantity. Dekho, rentability depends on the exact location within both societies.
Bhai, I was in the same boat last year. Palm Olympia mein sirf dikhawa hai. I went with a smaller, ready-to-move apartment in Sector 76. Peace of mind is worth more than fancy amenities, trust me.
Which project in Sector 76 did you go with, U3? I'm also looking in that area.
Totally agree. Amenities are great, but how often do you *really* use them? I'd rather have a smaller, paid-off apartment than a huge EMI for something I barely utilize.
