8 years of renting, now wondering about pre-launch deals
₹1.3 crore for a 3BHK in BTM Layout – that's what Keya Homes quoted me recently. I'm so fed up of renting for 8 years, my landlord raised rent again, you know? Finally trying to take the plunge. I visited a Keya Homes project last year, during their pre-launch phase, and I swear the prices seemed lower then, maybe around ₹1.15 Cr for a similar unit. I didn't commit then, thinking I had time. Now I'm wondering if I totally missed the boat. Is pre-launch pricing actually a real discount here in Bengaluru, or is it mostly marketing hype? My friend said builders just hike prices later anyway. Has anyone bought pre-launch and genuinely saved a good chunk? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth waiting for another pre-launch or just biting the bullet now.
