Okay I'll say what no one says – the 'Affordable Homes' corridor is a total misnomer now. Everyone glorifies its potential, but nobody talks about how ridiculous the price trend has been. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Marathahalli, and I'm thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or a small villa. But seriously, the premium they're asking for in 'Affordable Homes' feels completely unjustified. My budget is around ₹1.2 Cr, and for that, I'm seeing 3BHKs that were easily ₹90L just 18 months ago. That's a massive jump. I already have a home loan, and adding another huge EMI for this 'premium' isn't sitting right. Is it really worth buying now, or should we just wait for a correction? Change my mind.

Bhai, you hit the nail on the head! I'm also looking for a 3BHK in the ₹1.2 Cr range, and what they call 'affordable' is just ridiculous. Prices have shot up like crazy, feeling completely priced out.
U1, it's not just Akshayanagar. Even places like Agrahara Layout, which were supposed to be the next big thing, have seen prices jump 30-40% in less than two years. Builders are just milking the demand, it's so frustrating for us first-time buyers.
