Spent the whole Sunday checking out options in the 'Affordable Housing Projects' zones around Delhi's periphery. My wife and I need a bigger 3BHK for the kids; school admission and safety are top priorities. Honestly, the prices look attractive, but I'm getting a bit wary. Some of these projects, especially near Narela or even some DDA flats, feel like they might have hidden catches. Is anyone else concerned about the actual build quality or potential for possession delays? I heard stories about unexpected maintenance costs or poor infrastructure after moving in. A broker was showing us a flat, quoted around ₹75L, but the carpet area felt off and the promised amenities seemed... ambitious. Has anyone bought into these 'Affordable Housing Projects' in Delhi and faced major issues? What red flags should I absolutely watch out for before committing? Don't want to get stuck with something that looks good on paper but causes headaches later.
