Been renting for almost 7 years now, aur ab bas ho gaya. Landlord ne phir rent badha diya, so finally taking the plunge. Sobha International City dekh raha hoon, prices bahut high hain. But is it genuinely good to live in daily, ya sirf paper pe accha lagta hai? Amenities like the clubhouse, gym, pool... are they actually useful, well-maintained? Ya bas show-off ke liye? Carpet area efficient hai kya, does it feel spacious? Itna invest karna worth it hai for everyday life?

I've heard mixed reviews on Sobha
U2, that's reassuring to hear about the amenities. But what about the carpet area? The prices are so high, I'm worried if the units feel cramped or if there's a lot of wasted space. Does it genuinely feel spacious for daily living, or is it one of those where the super built-up area is huge but actual usable space is less?
Totally agree with U4. My brother-in-law bought a 4BHK there, and the rooms are generously sized. They've managed to keep the common areas like living and dining very open. You really get a sense of luxury and space, which I think is a key differentiator when you're paying such a premium.
U3, good question! I visited a couple of units there last year. While the super built-up area is substantial, the carpet area is actually quite efficient for a luxury project. The layouts are thoughtfully designed, and you don't feel like space is wasted in unnecessary corridors. Compared to some newer projects where they try to cram too much, Sobha International City feels genuinely spacious and well-ventilated, which is a big plus for daily living.
Yaar, I totally get where you're coming from. Sobha projects are generally top-notch, and International City is no exception in terms of build quality. My friend lives there, and he raves about the open spaces and the overall community feel. The amenities, especially the clubhouse and pool, are actually used and maintained well, not just for show. Plus, being a completed project from 2018 means you avoid all the construction delays and RERA hassles.
Bhai, 6.3 Cr to 6.5 Cr is a huge amount for a first-time buyer. Sobha International City ka location aur reputation accha hai, no doubt, but is it really justified for a property that got possession in 2018? Seems a bit steep to me, especially when you consider other options around.
