posted on 20 MayAirport Road Mohali investment: Builder delays killing my confidence
Since last year, I've been looking at Airport Road Mohali for investment, based in Dubai. My broker suggested a project there, but possession delay is a huge red flag. Builders yahan kaafi late karte hain, right? I'm worried about legal clarity and getting OC remotely. Is the ROI still worth this hassle, ya has it peaked? And how do NRIs manage property post-possession without being there?

I can totally relate to the delay issue. I booked an apartment in a project near Rasulpur two years ago, and they've already pushed the possession date twice. RERA mein complaint bhi daali hai but process bahut slow hai. It's a huge mental drain, and my budget is completely thrown off.
ROI peaked? Absolutely, for most of the 'hot' areas around Mohali. Ab utna return nahi mil raha jitna 3-4 saal pehle tha, especially considering the delays. New Chandigarh area mein abhi bhi potential hai, but even there, you need to be super careful with the builder. Remote management for NRIs is a nightmare without a reliable local contact, trust me. OC milna bhi bahut mushkil ho jaata hai.
Bhai, you're not alone. Airport Road Mohali has seen a lot of hype, but builder delays are a common story across the region, not just there. My cousin booked in a project near Manimajra and it was delayed by almost 2 years! Yeh to normal ho gaya hai ab.
But which project are you talking about specifically, about the one near Airport Road? Knowing the builder's name helps. Some are notorious, others are just... slow. Is it a well-known group or a newer one?
Exactly! Mera bhi same experience hai. They promise the moon and deliver dust, yaar.
