Altura GK2: My snag list fears and the 'luxury' premium
Budget finalised, loan pre-approved — now stuck on Altura GK2. I'm currently in a 2BHK and thinking of upgrading to a bigger 3BHK there, but honestly, is the premium for 'super luxury' flats really worth it long-term? Everyone glorifies the initial look and amenities, but no one talks about the actual construction quality issues that surface after a year. Matlab, minor cracks, seepage, ya fittings ka issue – does that also happen in these high-end projects? My biggest concern is the snag list post-possession and how it impacts resale value or tenant attraction. Will I spend more on repairs than the 'premium' I paid for? Maintenance charges toh astronomical hote hain, but what about the actual service quality? Is it just for common areas or do they genuinely fix things inside the flat? Change my mind.
