posted on 11 MayAltus Ecoglades: Actual floor plan experience?
Been checking out properties for months now, and Altus Ecoglades caught my eye. Unka floor plan kaafi efficient lag raha hai for the price, especially carpet area. But is it genuinely good for daily living? Anyone know if the actual usable space matches the plans? Also, maintenance charges kitne hain?

It depends on your priorities. If you're getting a really good deal on resale and the floor plan genuinely works for you, Altus is a decent option for its time. But yes, maintenance and potential issues with an older building are real concerns. Do your due diligence on the society's financials and structural integrity report. Don't rush into it just for the floor plan.
Exactly! Old projects have their own set of problems, from plumbing to electrical.
Totally agree. My agent showed me a new project in Rasulpur last month, similar budget, and it felt much better than an old one. Depreciation will be a factor for Altus, and getting loans might be tricky for older resale properties.
U1, be careful. 2016 ka project hai, so you're definitely looking at resale. Current market mein, especially around New Chandigarh, naye projects bhi iss range mein mil jaate hain, maybe a bit higher but with newer amenities and less wear-and-tear. Make sure you get a good deal if you go for this, and check out the appreciation potential for such an old project.
Water issues in 2024? That's a major red flag for me, can't deal with that stress.
U5, haan, society well-maintained hai for the most part. Club house, pool, gym sab functional hai. But water supply issues sunne mein aaye the kuch time pehle, especially in summers. My cousin lives in Mullanpur Garibdass and faces similar issues, so it might be a general area problem, not just this project.
₹3500 maintenance? That's a lot for a 2016 project. Kya amenities hain jo itna charge karte hain? Also, is the society well-maintained still after so many years?
Dekho, Altus Ecoglades mein mere friend ne liya tha 2016 mein. Us time 42L mein mila tha. Carpet area was decent, no doubt, usable space is good. But maintenance charges are a bit high, around ₹3000-3500 for a 2BHK. Quality of fittings was average, so daily living mein kuch minor issues aate rehte hain. Think about resale value now, it won't appreciate much more.
Yaar, floor plans toh unke hamesha ache hote hain, no doubt. But 2016 ka project hai, toh kya abhi bhi flats available hain builder ke paas? Ya aap resale mein dekh rahe ho? Maintenance kitna aata hai per month, yeh bhi important hai.
Bhai, Altus Ecoglades toh 2016 ka project hai. Abhi kyu dekh rahe ho? Resale mein milega woh bhi, builder ke paas toh kuch hoga nahi ab.
