I work in real estate, but Amrapali's reputation scares me. Heard horror stories about delays and hidden charges. Anyone had a good experience with possession? Sahi mein batao.

Sector 45 projects are still under construction. NBCC is working on them, but the progress is slow. Don't hold your breath for on-time possession.
So, to answer the original question: On-time possession in Amrapali? Almost a myth. Proceed with extreme caution.
Waise, what happened to Anil Sharma? Is he still in jail?
I had booked a flat in Amrapali Centurian Park back in 2012. Finally got possession last year, but the apartment was in terrible condition. Had to spend a lot on repairs and renovations.
So, the bottom line is: Amrapali is a big no-no? I'm a first-time buyer and feeling completely lost. So many options, so many risks!
U19, For a first-time buyer, stick to established builders with a good track record. Don't fall for the low prices offered by shady developers. It's not worth the headache.
U19, Agree with U3. Consider ready-to-move-in properties. You can see what you're getting before you invest.
U19, Look at projects in Sector 150. It's developing rapidly and has good connectivity. But do your research!
Anyone know what's happening with the Amrapali projects in Sector 45? Heard they were supposed to be completed by 2024.
Does anyone know the current circle rate in Sector 75? Considering selling my apartment there.
U12, Last I checked, it was around 60k per square meter. But market rate is higher, especially with the new metro line coming up.
What about Amrapali Silicon City? Anyone living there? How's the maintenance and overall living experience?
Heard mixed reviews about Silicon City. Some say it's okay now that the NBCC is involved. Others are still facing issues with water supply and electricity.
NBCC is trying their best to complete the pending projects. But it's a long process. Don't expect miracles overnight.
U4, exactly! RERA is not a magic wand. You need to do your own due diligence. Lawyer se title search karwao.
Title search is a must. But even that doesn't guarantee anything with these guys. Mera experience bhi kharab raha. Lost a lot of money.
I know someone who got possession in Verona Heights, but it was delayed by almost 5 years! And they had to pay extra for 'development charges' which weren't mentioned in the agreement. Beware!
5 years delay? OMG! I'm looking at a property in Noida Extension. Ab toh aur darr lag raha hai. Rates are so high now, finding something affordable is a nightmare.
U8, Noida Extension is a gamble. Some builders are good, some are… Amrapali. Research karo thoroughly before investing.
U8, Check out ATS projects. A bit more expensive, but their reputation is much better. Peace of mind is worth the extra cost.
Amrapali? Bhai, dur raho. My cousin booked a flat in Sapphire almost 10 years ago. Still waiting for possession. RERA mein complaint bhi kiya tha, no use.
Sahi mein? I was actually considering a resale in Dream Valley. Price seemed good, but now I'm scared. Anyone had a *positive* experience?
Positive experience with Amrapali? That's like finding a unicorn in Sector 18. Seriously though, check their track record on RERA website. It's public info.
U3, RERA pe toh sab theekh dikhate hai! My friend is stuck with their project in Greater Noida West. Court cases chal rahe hain.
