₹20 lakhs is what my broker quoted for a flat in an old Amrapali project. Honestly, I'm tempted. But I've heard horror stories about delays and construction quality. My parents keep saying 'avoid at all costs'. I've also heard about hidden charges appearing at possession. Not sure if it's worth the risk for a cheaper price. Anyone had experience with Amrapali projects? Should I just look at newer builders like Godrej or ATS instead? Ab samajh nahi aa raha.

Hidden charges toh har builder lagaata hai yaar. That's the norm in Noida. You need to be ready for that. But with Amrapali, the risk is much higher.
Which Amrapali project are you talking about? Sector 45 wala? Location matters a lot. 20 lakhs sounds too good to be true, so be very careful.
Haan, location batao. And RERA registration check kiya kya? RERA number se pata chalega ki current status kya hai.
Exactly! RERA mein complaint bhi file kar sakte ho if they're delaying.
RERA se bhi kitna fayda hota hai? Ultimately, court mein case chalta rehta hai. I'm not sure RERA is a magic bullet.
U6, RERA is better than nothing. At least there's some accountability. Before RERA, toh builder apni marzi karta tha.
My personal experience: I bought a resale flat in Amrapali Dream Valley in 2015. Possession was delayed by 3 years. The quality is okayish, but the maintenance charges are high. I regret it. I could have gotten something better in that time.
20 lakhs mein flat? Bhai, Amrapali toh risky business hai. My cousin lost a lot of money. Better to be safe than sorry. Godrej or ATS are definitely safer bets.
I agree with U1. Amrapali is a big no-no. Delay toh pakka hai. My friend bought in Sapphire and still waiting for possession after 7 years!
