Did a site visit to Ansal Aastha Mig Zone on Saturday. My kids have moved out, so I'm looking to sell our big house and downsize to something manageable and low-maintenance in Rajkot. Ansal looks decent on paper, but I'm really worried about the actual daily realities. How's the elevator quality and maintenance response time there? I really don't want to be stuck, especially living on a higher floor. Also, what about the water supply? Is it reliable, or will we be depending on tankers a lot? Some societies promise full backup but it's never really true. Are these amenities actually value for money for someone seeking peace? Any current residents can share their honest experiences?

It seems like a mixed bag for Ansal Aastha. The price is attractive for first-time buyers, but the amenity issues are a genuine concern. For someone like U1 seeking peace and low maintenance, these daily hassles can be a deal-breaker. What did you finally decide, U1?
I totally understand your dilemma, U1. When we bought our first home near Krishna Kunj, we were so focused on the carpet area and price that we overlooked the nitty-gritty of daily amenities. Later we regretted it when the power backup was unreliable and the society management was unresponsive. For downsizing, peace of mind is paramount. Don't just look at the brochure; talk to as many existing residents as possible, even if it means waiting outside the gate for an hour to catch them.
U1, aapne kaunse tower mein visit kiya tha? Aur possession date toh 2022-06-01 ki thi. Kya sabko time par possession mila tha ya delays the? Because agar already completed hai, toh amenities ab tak settle ho jaane chahiye. Water supply aur lift ka issue toh nahi hona chahiye ab.
Water issue is real, yaar. Mere relatives Krishna Kunj society mein rehte hain paas mein, unka water supply Ansal se kaafi better hai. For a senior citizen looking for low maintenance, this could be a big headache. Budget mein toh hai, but daily stress add ho jayega.
Yes, U7 is right. Possession was definitely delayed. And for ₹29 L – ₹30 L, I feel Rajkot mein aajkal thoda better options mil sakte hain, especially if amenities are your priority. Current market conditions mein buyers ke paas negotiate karne ka chance hai.
Time par possession? Haha, that's a good one! Humein toh 4-5 mahine late mila tha, aur woh bhi with pending work. Initial months mein water supply bahut irregular thi, tankers par hi depend karna padta tha. Ab thoda better hua hai, but still not 24/7 reliable. Elevators bhi kaafi baar stuck hote hain, especially during power cuts, aur backup generator ka response time slow hai. Maintenance staff hai, but they are often overwhelmed. It's not exactly the 'peace' you're looking for.
I visited Ansal Aastha last month and thought it looked okay for the price range (₹29 L – ₹30 L). The flats were compact but well-designed. I'm also a first-time buyer and budget is a huge concern. For this price, I felt like it was a decent option in Rajkot.
Ansal Aastha? Bhai, Ansal ka track record Rajkot mein toh kuch khaas nahi hai. Amenities ka toh pata nahi, but builder ke promises par zyada bharosa mat karna. Pehle bhi issues hue hain.
Exactly! Aur yeh log bolte hain ki project COMPLETED hai, RERA number bhi hai UPRERAPRJ5670. But reality mein delays aur finishing issues bahut common hain. Jab humne enquiry ki thi, toh elevator reliability par bhi doubts the. Builder ne sirf brochure mein sab achha dikhaya hai, ground reality kuch aur hi hai. Be extra careful, especially for a downsize where you need peace of mind.
Sahi keh rahe ho. Mere ek dost ne bhi Ansal ke dusre project mein book kiya tha. Possession mein itni delay hui ki bata nahi sakta. Amenities toh baad ki baat hai, pehle ghar mil jaaye wahi badi baat hoti hai.
