Ansal Sushant City: Does initial build quality truly dictate long-term investor returns?
My next investment decision is due in Q3, and I’m revisiting past assumptions. From my experience, initial construction quality significantly impacts long-term ROI. In Ansal Sushant City, I’ve seen early seepage or fitting issues within 1-2 years, directly affecting resale value and increasing maintenance costs. Do the promised amenities, like a fancy clubhouse, actually drive premium rental income or tenant attraction? Or do they become ghost facilities, inflating prices without real yield? I'm trying to calculate the true cost of poor build quality. Has anyone else tracked this impact on capital appreciation?

Totally agree with the post. Ansal Sushant City ka toh naam sunte hi darr lagta hai. My cousin booked a flat there back in 2018, aur abhi tak fittings ki problem khatam nahi hui. Har monsoon mein seepage ki complaint aati hai. They promised a swanky clubhouse and swimming pool, but it's barely functional, just a showpiece. I think yeh amenities sirf brochure mein achhi lagti hain, real value add kuch nahi hai, especially if the basic structure is weak. Long-term appreciation toh door ki baat hai, maintenance mein hi saara profit chala jata hai.
