posted on 10 MayAram Bagh residents: How do you manage daily commute and parking?
Possession was in March for my 2BHK in Aram Bagh, and I'm honestly still adjusting. Things nobody told me about were the daily traffic jams around Pusa Road, especially in the evenings. It's a nightmare, yaar. Also, parking is a constant battle; finding a spot near my building after 8 PM is impossible. Was hoping for a bit more peace, but the constant horn honking is something else. Is this just how it is here, or am I missing something? How do you guys manage the commute and parking situation daily?

I almost bought in Aram Bagh last year but backed out after seeing the traffic during an evening visit. My cousin lives near Alaknanda and even there, parking is tight, but Pusa Road is on another level. Builders promise the world but forget daily livability. It's a tough lesson for first-time buyers, especially when you've invested your life savings.
Exactly. The number of new commercial establishments and coaching centers that have popped up around Pusa Road in the last 5 years is insane. They bring in so much floating traffic and cars, but no corresponding parking infrastructure. It's a classic case of demand far outstripping supply. Property
Sahi baat hai, Alaknanda mein bhi parking ka issue hai, but not as bad as Pusa Road. The commercial activity near Aram Bagh just makes it worse. We really need better urban planning.
Aram Bagh has always been like this. It's the price you pay for being central, no?
Yaar, you're not missing anything. This is the reality. I booked a flat here thinking 'central location' but daily commute from Karol Bagh side is pure pain. And don't even get me started on guest parking.
Metro is good for some, but what about elderly parents or groceries? This is why I'm reconsidering buying property in such dense areas. With current interest rates, paying EMIs for this kind of daily struggle feels wrong.
Paharganj se bhi try kiya hai but that's a different kind of chaos, narrow lanes and autos everywhere. Best bet is to leave earlier or later, but that's not always practical. Honestly, I've started taking the metro more often, even if it means a longer walk to the station. Saves sanity, if not time.
Guest parking is a huge problem, sahi kaha! Have you tried any alternative routes to avoid Pusa Road, like through Paharganj? Or is it all the same mess?
Totally relate! I'm in Aram Bagh too and the Pusa Road traffic is just insane. Parking is a nightmare, agree 100%.
