Are 'spot discounts' in Chandigarh just a big scam?

My kids' school admission is next year, so we're seriously looking for a 3BHK in Sector 49 or Mohali. Honestly, prices are insane, like ₹1.8Cr for a decent place. Everyone talks about these 'spot discounts' builders offer, but I'm not buying it. Yaar, I feel like they just inflate the price pehle hi, aur then give a 'discount' to make you feel like you've won. Matlab, was that ₹10L off on a ₹1.8Cr 3BHK in New Chandigarh even real savings? Or was the original price just a bluff from the start? Shouldn't we be pushing for a proper price correction instead of falling for these marketing gimmicks? What's the ground reality? Kitna realistically kam ho sakta hai final price? I'm talking about places like Aerocity too. Is there any actual room for negotiation beyond these 'spot offers'? Disagree? Tell me why.
