Arekere / Bannerghatta Road fringes — I'm fed up of renting, finally taking the plunge. Found that quoted prices here often have negotiation room, especially for PLC and other 'extras'. What nobody tells you is the actual ongoing water tanker dependency cost; it really adds up. Factor that into your EMI vs rent math. Hope this helps someone.

Thank god someone said this! I'm also looking in Arekere, and the prices feel so inflated. So, for PLC, how much negotiation is actually possible? Builder agents toh bolte hain fixed hai.
Fixed kuch nahi hota bhai. They always have margin. I tried negotiating for a 2BHK in Aavalahalli last year, they came down by almost 1.5 lakhs on the base price itself, not just PLC. You just need to push harder.
