Avalon Park 3BHK interiors – what's your take?
What do you all think about the interiors shown for Avalon Park @ Prestige City? I just saw a video about a 3BHK there, done by CS Constructions. They did the whole end-to-end thing, making it totally move-in ready for Mr. Abhishek and Mrs. Nibeditha. The modern & functional theme looks good, but I'm wondering if going for a full package like that is always the best way. Does anyone have experience with these complete interior solutions in Bangalore? Is it worth the cost for a 3BHK?

You know, the RERA number PRM/KA/RERA/1251/308/PR/210928/004316 gives some assurance for the project itself, but for interiors, there's no such regulatory body. It's a Wild West out there. I'd suggest getting at least 3-4 quotes, even if you like the 'look' of one firm. Don't get swayed by fancy videos, they are designed to impress, not necessarily to be cost-effective for everyone.
For someone like Mr. Abhishek and Mrs. Nibeditha, who probably have a higher budget, an end-to-end solution might be perfect for convenience. But for us budget-conscious folks, it's about optimizing every rupee. I'd rather spend that extra money on a better locality or a slightly bigger flat than on pre-packaged interiors. Maybe just get modular kitchen and wardrobes done, and DIY the rest over time?
I'm still stuck on the price point for Avalon Park. ₹1.5 Cr – ₹3.2 Cr for 950 units. Add another 20-30 lakhs for interiors? That's a huge commitment for a first home. Is the current market even justifying these prices in Bengaluru? I'm seeing a lot of inventory around Adigara Kallahalli too, maybe slightly better value.
I've heard mixed reviews about these 'full solutions'. My friend booked a flat in Prestige City and opted for their recommended interior firm. The work was decent, but they were super slow, and the finish wasn't as premium as promised. Plus, the cost was almost 15% more than what she got quoted from an external vendor for similar specs. Be very careful with the contract and what's included.
Haan, and also check if they provide a detailed breakdown of costs for each section, like kitchen, wardrobes, false ceiling. Sometimes they give one lump sum, which makes it impossible to compare or negotiate. Transparency is key. Prestige is a big builder, established since 1986, but even they might tie up with firms that aren't the best value for money.
U5, definitely check for penalty clauses for delays, material specifications in detail, and warranty terms. Also, make sure they don't use 'or equivalent' for materials; specify brands. My brother had a terrible experience with a firm near Agrahara Layout, they substituted good quality wood with particle board because the contract was vague. Builder recommendation doesn't always mean best service.
That's exactly my fear! I'm booking a 3BHK in Avalon Park, possession date 2025-02-01, so I have some time. But I don't want to rush into a bad interior deal. What kind of clauses should one look out for in these contracts? Any red flags?
Yaar, I saw that video too! The interiors looked super slick, especially for a 3BHK. But my first thought was, kitna kharcha hoga isme? Prestige City Avalon Park already has a price range of ₹1.5 Cr – ₹3.2 Cr, toh upar se itna heavy interior package, budget toh hil jaega na. Is it really worth it for a first-time buyer like me?
Bhai, worth it depends on your priority. If convenience is key and you just want to move in without any hassle, then maybe. But if you're budget-conscious, try to get quotes from independent designers. My cousin got his 2BHK in Aavalahalli done by a local carpenter and a designer, saved a lot, and got exactly what he wanted. These big packages often have a huge markup.
Totally agree U1! I'm also looking at Avalon Park, and the base price itself is a stretch. These full interior packages look great on video, but they often use standard materials and designs. You might end up paying a premium for something you could get customized for less outside. I'm worried about hidden costs.
