Bal Brothers' DLF Luxury Homes - Gurgaon Thoughts?
Found this video about the Bal Brothers' homes in DLF Camellias and Aralias. It's wild that one family has custom-designed properties in both those uber-luxury Gurugram projects. His brother even designed them from scratch. Makes you wonder about the customization options DLF offers at that level. What do you guys think about owning multiple high-end properties like that in the same city? Is it common for such bespoke designs?

DLF ka track record toh puraana hai, established in 1946, HQ Gurugram mein. But for us first-time buyers, it's hard to trust any builder fully. These luxury stories just make us more nervous. Kya hamare liye bhi kabhi aise customization options available honge, without breaking the bank?
I'm more curious about the logic of owning multiple high-end properties in the same city. Like, why? Is it investment, or just a status symbol? For ₹31.7 Cr, you could buy so many other things or invest in different cities. What's the strategy here?
It's probably a mix of both. For them, ₹30 Cr might be like ₹3 Cr for us. They probably don't even bat an eyelid. It's about displaying wealth and securing assets in a prime location like DLF's projects, which are always in demand.
Definitely for investment and status. Gurugram ka real estate, especially the luxury segment, has always seen appreciation. Plus, having an architect in the family makes it easier to design and manage. Pure business sense, I guess.
U9, good point. Maybe it's a diversification strategy within the luxury segment? Or perhaps one is for personal use, and the other is for rental income, targeting HNIs on Airport Road. People with that kind of money think differently.
Mujhe toh lagta hai ye sab connections aur status ka khel hai. Ordinary buyers ko toh builder se ek extra socket lagwane mein bhi pasina aa jaata hai. Aur yahan poora ghar hi re-design ho raha hai. Is it really a 'customization option' or just a privilege for a select few?
True that. I asked my builder about a small change in the kitchen layout, they quoted me an absurd amount. These Bal Brothers must be paying a premium for that, maybe through some special arrangement with DLF, jo 1946 se established hai.
U6, you hit the nail on the head. We are struggling to get basic amenities in our upcoming project near Basai. These 'customization options' are definitely not for us budget buyers. It's a different league altogether.
Exactly! Meri toh aankhein khuli reh gayi. Aralias ka price range dekha hai? ₹31.6 Cr – ₹31.7 Cr. Aur woh bhi ek hi family ke paas do-do properties? Budget-conscious log toh sapne mein bhi nahi soch sakte. Ye real estate game kis level pe chala gaya hai Gurugram mein.
Bhai, DLF Aralias toh 2008 mein hi complete ho gaya tha. Total 252 units hain. Tab kya price tha aur ab kya ho gaya hai, soch ke hi chakkar aa jaate hain. Ye customization tab se available thi kya, ya abhi recent trend hai?
U2, you're absolutely right. It's mind-boggling. For us, even a decent flat in Badshahpur feels like a huge investment. These prices for Aralias are just insane, especially considering the current market conditions. It shows how big the gap is between the uber-rich and average buyers in Gurugram.
Yaar, ye Bal Brothers wali video dekhi maine. DLF Camellias aur Aralias mein ek hi family ke paas properties, woh bhi custom-designed? Crazy lag raha hai. Hum toh ek 2BHK ke liye bhi itna soch rahe hain, aur yahan log poora mahal banwa rahe hain. Sach mein, itne high-end projects mein itna customization possible hai kya?
