Honestly, I'm completely fed up of renting in Bangalore. Landlord ne rent phir badha diya, so finally I'm taking the plunge. EMI vs rent makes sense now. I'm looking at Akshayanagara East, but prices seem high. Namma Metro Phase 2/3 expansion aur Peripheral Ring Road ka real impact kya hai wahan? Which areas near these infra projects still have decent deals?

Totally understand the rent

Akshayanagara East mein toh 8000-9000/sqft chal raha hai minimum. Deals toh bhool jao. Only resale value might be decent later.
Haan bhai, Akshayanagara East mein deals milna mushkil hai now. Metro Phase 3 ka route toh almost final hai, aur stations ke paas toh rates already 10-15% up ho gaye last 6 months mein. PRR ka impact thoda delayed hai but yes, it will open up new growth corridors. Agar budget tight hai, try areas like Adigara Kallahalli ya Agrahara Layout. Thoda door padega but future potential hai with PRR access.
U1, totally relate! EMI vs rent is the only way now. For Akshayanagara East, Metro Phase 3 extension will definitely boost connectivity, but prices are already sky-high. PRR will be a game changer for traffic, but again, speculators have already driven up land values. 'Decent deals' for a first-time buyer are rare now in established zones.
