Bangalore property: Is it too late for a first-time buyer?

Since last year, I've been seriously looking at buying my first property in Bangalore. The prices feel insane, honestly. I'm seeing 2BHKs in Whitefield or Sarjapur Road easily crossing ₹1.2 Cr, even from builders like Prestige. My budget is around ₹1.3-1.5 Cr, and I feel constantly behind. Is Bangalore still a solid investment for 2026-27, or has it truly peaked? My parents keep saying I should've bought 5 years ago. Everyone talks about Namma Metro expansion, but also the crazy traffic and water issues. Am I just buying into hype now? Anyone who bought recently, what's your take? Should I wait, or is this the new normal? What's one thing you wish you knew?
