posted on 12 MayBangalore property: Quoted price is never the real price
Visited Chaitra Constructions in Hulimavu for a 2BHK. Quoted ₹95L, but then came stamp duty, registration, PLC, parking, interiors. 'All-in' cost is pushing ₹1.1 Cr. I honestly had no idea these extras add up so much. Is this normal in Bangalore? How do you budget for this?

Bhai, this is totally normal in Bangalore. Quoted price is just the base rate, the 'super built-up' dream. Uspe GST, registration, stamp duty, electricity connection, water, corpus fund, maintenance advance, all add up. I visited a project in Aavalahalli and faced the same shock. Builders rarely give the 'all-in' price upfront.
Exactly! And don't forget the 'amenity charges' for the swimming pool you'll use twice a year. It
