The all-in cost of a flat in Bangalore is a massive shocker, way more than builder quotes. I just moved into my Prestige flat in Ramamurthy Nagar last month. Pre-launch price looked good, but yaar, stamp duty, registration, PLC, parking, then interiors... my 1.5 Cr 2BHK ended up closer to 1.8 Cr. Nobody tells you this clearly upfront, it's like a slow drip of expenses. Was pre-launch really a discount or just a psychological trick for builders to lock you in? What's your experience with these 'all-in' costs? Did you find any hidden charges *before* possession? Seriously, it feels like builders hide half the cost. Change my mind.

Yaar, totally agree with the original post! This 'all-in' cost scam is real. I'm looking at flats in Arekere and the base price looks decent, but then when you factor in everything else, it just shoots up. Builders show you one figure, then slowly, slowly you realize the EMIs will be much higher. It's so frustrating for first-time buyers like us. Feeling totally cheated already and I haven't even booked yet!
