posted on 3 MayBangalore property's quoted prices are always a lie
Did a site visit to Keya Homes near Baiyappanahalli Metro last Saturday. My wife and I are downsizing since the kids have moved out, looking for a manageable 2BHK. The quoted price for a 2BHK there was around ₹1.1 Cr. But then I started asking about stamp duty, registration, PLC, parking... the final number just kept climbing. Are there always so many hidden charges popping up later? What's a realistic 'all-in' cost percentage over the base price for a ready-to-move apartment in Bangalore?

Bhai, this is the standard Bangalore trap. I was looking at a 3BHK in Akshayanagar last year and faced the exact same thing. Stamp duty, registration, legal fees, amenities charges, maintenance advance, GST, then PLC for a good view
Totally relate to this! We saw a place in Marathahalli and the 'base price' was appealing, but then all the other charges came crashing down. It felt like a bait and switch. How can builders quote such misleading prices initially?
