Baraula (Village) water issues: What's the real ground reality?

2 years renting near Baraula, landlord hiked rent again. I'm finally taking the plunge and looking at properties in Baraula (Village). But I'm hearing about water supply problems. Is it municipal connection or mostly tanker dependent? What's the borewell situation like there?
