Begumpet: What's the real safety and resale scene?
Begumpet – this area keeps popping up when I'm looking for upgrades. Currently I'm in a 2BHK in Gachibowli, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or even a small villa. Already have a home loan, so EMI will be a big jump. Dekho, Begumpet seems well-connected with the Metro, which is a plus. But I'm honestly a bit concerned about the general safety, especially for family. Raat mein kaisa feel hota hai? Is it safe for women to commute late? Also, what about the resale market there? Agar kal ko shift karna pade, will it be easy to sell a 3BHK or villa without much discount? I'm seeing prices around ₹1.5-2 Cr for decent 3BHKs. Is that justified for the overall living experience and future appreciation? Is the price jump worth it for Begumpet specifically? Community, what's your take on Begumpet's safety and resale potential? Would you consider buying a bigger home here?

Honestly, Begumpet ka safety factor is a real concern. Metro connectivity accha hai, but raat ko thodi ehtiyaat zaroor bartni padti hai, especially for women. My sister works near Secunderabad and sometimes has to pass through Begumpet late, she always prefers a cab, not auto. Resale ka toh pata nahi, but current prices for a 3BHK seem a bit high for the overall vibe compared to what it offers.
Sahi kaha bhai. Safety kaafi important hai.
