2 Metro stations pass by Bel Colony, but I'm hearing mixed reviews on last-mile connectivity. I'm eyeing a 2BHK there for around ₹65 lakh. Is auto-rickshaw hi option hai for the station, ya shared cabs bhi mil jaati hain? Evening commute DND se kaisa rehta hai? Traffic ka kya scene hai, especially near Mohan Nagar? Safety bhi important hai for family. Koi actual resident experience share kar sakta hai?

Listen, last year my friend almost booked in Bel Colony, but then backed out because of builder delays and also heard about water issues in some pockets. Have you checked the RERA status of the projects there? And what about the actual distance from the metro station to your specific society? Google Maps sometimes lies, so a ground visit during peak hours is a must.
Exactly! Always check the RERA complaints history before investing. I almost got trapped in a project near Afzalpur where the builder
RERA status is okay for some projects, but possession delays are a huge concern for many. My cousin is stuck in a project near Achchheja because of this, builder ne 2 saal se date extend kar di hai. It's a real headache.
Yaar, main khud DND se cross karta hoon daily, aur Mohan Nagar se pehle ka traffic is just insane. Subah 9-10 baje aur shaam 6-8 baje toh itna choke hota hai ki 5 km cover karne mein 45 minutes lag jaate hain. Metro station tak pahunchne ke liye shared auto mil jaate hain, but they cram so many people. Safety ka bhi issue hai late evenings, especially for women. I saw a few incidents near the isolated stretches, so family ke liye thoda sochna padega.
U8, metro is definitely a viable alternative if your office is on the metro line, especially for avoiding DND. But the problem is last mile from Bel Colony metro station. You will find autos, but they charge a bomb sometimes, especially if you're the only passenger. Shared cabs are rare, mostly you're dependent on autos or your own vehicle. My colleague used to live there and eventually sold his flat because of the daily commute stress and the last-mile hassle, even with the metro nearby.
Haan bhai, DND traffic toh rula deta hai. I live in Indirapuram and even for me getting to office via DND is a daily struggle. Mohan Nagar choke point is real and it feels like it's only getting worse. What about the metro route, is it a viable alternative if one has to travel towards Delhi for work?
Totally agree with U1. My cousin lives near Ahinsa Khand 1 and even there, last mile is a pain sometimes. Bel Colony mein toh auto wale bhi nakhre karte hain aur convenience ke naam pe double charge karte hain. DND traffic toh nightmare hai, especially peak hours mein. I'm also looking for a home and this is my biggest concern.
Bhai, Bel Colony ke ₹65 lakh for a 2BHK? Thoda high nahi lag raha for that area? Last mile connectivity ka to sach mein issue hai, especially from main road to societies. Is price mein better options mil sakte hain kya?
Depends on the builder and society, bro. Some new projects are really good and infra is improving. Price is fair for a gated community with good amenities, you just need to do your homework.
Sahi kaha U1. ₹65 lakh for 2BHK in Bel Colony is pushing it, unless it's a very premium project. I was looking at similar options in Abhay Khand and found slightly better deals with clearer connectivity to the metro, plus the societies felt more established there. Bel Colony mein growth potential hai, but current price point seems a bit steep for the existing infrastructure challenges.
