Okay I'll be honest — I'm completely fed up of renting. Landlord raised rent again, so finally taking the plunge, want to build some equity. Been looking at 2BHKs around Mullur, checked out a few Inner Spaces projects. My budget's around ₹1.2 Cr, but builders seem so rigid on price. Is it even possible to negotiate much for a decent deal in Bengaluru, or are those 'spot discounts' just for show? Like, how much percentage can you realistically knock off the quoted price on a new property? I'm trying to maximise deal value. Also, how much do hidden charges really add up to? Beyond stamp duty and registration, what else pops up at possession? I'm worried about the true total cost of acquisition here.
