Bengaluru investors: are pre-launch discounts truly worth the wait?

Pre-launch discounts are completely overhyped in Bengaluru, change my mind. Everyone glorifies getting in early, but I'm looking at Keya Homes on Hennur Road and the price difference for an early bird 3BHK isn't that much compared to ready possession. I'm currently in a 2BHK, thinking of upgrading, and honestly, don't see the value. Is the construction-linked payment plan just a way to lock you in without real savings? What about all the hidden charges that pop up later? Disagree? Tell me why.
