Did a site visit to Keya Homes in Kaggadasapura last month and the project looks decent, but yaar, the stamp duty and registration costs hit me hard. Just got possession of my 2BHK in Doddanekkundi in March, and the final bill for registration felt like another EMI. Builders mostly quote only property price, right? Broker ne bhi itna detail mein nahi bataya tha. For investors like us, this really impacts the total acquisition cost and ROI calculations. I mean, 5-6% extra on an ₹80L flat is a lot. Is there any way to negotiate these govt charges, ya sab fixed hota hai? Anyone got any tips for future investments?
