My flat possession near Hoodi was in March, and honestly, the rental market here is something else. Rent prices in Whitefield and Sarjapur Road have gone crazy, yaar. Like, 30-40% up in just two years — is this even justified? Will these hikes stabilize, or is this the new normal for 2BHKs? My friends are looking for places now, and brokers are demanding huge charges. Is it actually possible to find places directly from landlords in Electronic City or Kanakapura Road without them gatekeeping everything? Any tips on bypassing brokers? Also, society RWA rules sometimes feel a bit much for tenants. What are some red flags or disproportionate rules to watch out for before signing a lease here in Bengaluru? Things nobody told me earlier.
