Bengaluru's 'all-in' flat cost is a massive shocker
Okay, I'm still reeling from the actual 'final' cost of my 2BHK in Sarjapur, moved in just last month. Seriously, the listed price is such a small part of it. Nobody really tells you how much Stamp Duty and Registration add up to, especially for a 1.2 Cr flat. Then there's the PLC, parking charges, and don't even get me started on interiors. My Prestige Group apartment had so many line items I wasn't expecting. It's like a whole other EMI just for these extras. I wish I had factored all these 'all-in' costs better upfront. Did anyone else get surprised by the total outgo? What percentage of the property value did your extras typically come to here in Bengaluru? Trying to figure out if my experience was normal or if I missed something big. Hope this helps someone budget smarter.

Totally relate, bhai! My 3BHK in Electronic City also had a 1.1 Cr listed price, but the final bill was almost 1.35 Cr. The builder just shows basic cost, and then stamp duty, registration, legal fees, amenity charges, even maintenance advance for 2 years... sab add ho jaata hai. It's like a hidden tax on happiness. Sarjapur toh aur expensive hoga.
Haan yaar, same experience with my flat near Akshayanagar. Builders hide so much
