Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated the hidden costs with Big Block Floors. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 91 Mohali, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK, maybe a floor in Big Block Floors. Already have a home loan, so EMI is a big factor. Jab site visit kiya tha, brochure mein kuch aur dikhaya, but possession ke time par they hit us with so many extra charges. PLC, OC... sab add kar diya. Matlab, initial quote se ₹10-12 lakh upar chala gaya. Also, the carpet area feels way smaller than what they promised initially, not sure if that's standard ya yeh log cheat kar rahe hain. Jin logon ne already possession le li hai, unka experience kaisa raha? Did you also face these hidden charges? Aur maintenance charges kitne aate hain monthly? Is the price jump from my 2BHK even worth it for this project? Any advice on how to negotiate these extra costs ya just pay up?
Is Big Block Floors just another project where the brochure looks amazing but daily life is different? I work in real estate, so I know the marketing games. But buying for myself, I'm seriously frustrated with the 'amenities' promised versus what's actually there. The club house, the green spaces... are they usable or just for show? Feeling like the super area vs carpet area games are spilling into amenity quality too. Has anyone already moved into Big Block Floors and faced this? What's the real vibe there, off the record?
Sohna Big Block Floors kaafi time se dekh raha hoon, especially since rent badh gaya. Fed up of renting, seriously. Is it genuinely good to live in daily, ya bas paper pe sahi hai? Amenities kitne useful hain, especially kids ke liye? Society ka vibe kaisa hai?
