Block GH 8: Downsizing search, prices and daily life reality

Block GH 8 keeps coming up every time I shortlist something. Kids have moved out, so don't need such a big place anymore. Selling our old house, looking for a compact 2BHK flat, something manageable. Yahan prices ₹1.5Cr se upar hi dikh rahe mostly. Is it really worth it for a smaller unit? Kya negotiation possible hai? Also, day-to-day life wahan kaisi hai? Like, hospitals kitne close hain and kaise hain? Green spaces hain kya for walks? Maintenance charges bhi dekhne padenge, we want something low. Society ka vibe kaisa hai, peaceful ya loud? Any honest experiences, please share.
