Bommasandra property prices feel inflated for current infra
My lease ends in 4 months and I'm seriously looking at Bommasandra. Fed up of renting. Is the new metro line actually making a difference for daily commute? What's the real vibe living there, tbh? Are property prices justified?

I went for a site visit last month near Aavalahalli, just on the outskirts of Bommasandra. The apartments looked decent, but the per sqft rate they quoted was shocking. For a first-time buyer like me, it felt completely out of budget, especially considering the surrounding infrastructure. I saw a few projects that were still under construction with no clear completion date mentioned. Feeling very disheartened.
U3, Aavalahalli mein amenities kaisi hain wahan? Swimming pool, gym, basic stuff? Or just bare bones?
Same here, I checked out a project in Aavalahalli too. They quoted around 6500-7000 per sqft. For that kind of money, I expect better infra and amenities, not just promises. It's a tough market for budget-conscious buyers.
Honestly, I'm skeptical about this 'metro effect'. My office is near Electronic City, so Bommasandra makes sense proximity-wise, but traffic is still a nightmare. Metro is good, but the cost vs benefit for Bommasandra still doesn't add up for me. Too much stress for the price.
Exactly! Jaise U6 ne kaha, last mile connectivity is a huge problem. I travel from that side sometimes, and the roads leading to stations are still under development. Prices are definitely not justified just for a metro line that's partially operational or has these gaps.
Metro ka difference? Bhai, it helps, but it's not a magic wand. If your office is right next to a metro station, then maybe. But from Bommasandra, you still need to factor in auto/bus to the station and then the metro ride. My friend lives near Adigara Kallahalli, same issue. The last mile connectivity is still a pain. The vibe is okay, developing, but not super happening if you're looking for city life.
Yaar, I'm in the same boat! My lease ends in 3 months and Bommasandra was on my radar. But prices seem to have shot up like crazy. Metro ke naam pe kuch bhi price bol rahe hain kya? Confused and stressed.
