Sector 34B — just moved into my Manohar Singh flat last month. Honestly, everyone says use a broker for property deals in Chandigarh, but I'm not convinced. My experience, the broker just added a layer of complexity and didn't really get me any *extra* discount jo main direct builder se nahi le pata. Matlab, builders ka toh standard rate card hota hai, right? Spot discounts bhi limited hi hote hain. I feel like we, as buyers, end up paying their commission indirectly anyway. What's the real value they add for an investor trying to maximise ROI? Shouldn't we just go direct, save that 1-2%? Especially when stamp duty and registration already eat up so much. Change my mind, please.
