Broker spot discounts are a myth

Okay I'll be honest — this upgrade process is more confusing than I thought. I'm in a 2BHK in Sector 44, looking for a 3BHK near Rasulpur. Already have a home loan. Brokers keep offering 'spot discounts', but I wonder if they truly get a better deal ya just push for a quick close. Should I go direct to Reputed Builder? Does a broker actually have more negotiation power, or is it just their commission?

Hmm, I'm not so sure. My broker actually got me a pretty decent deal on my 2BHK in Manimajra two years back. He knew the builder personally and got some extra fittings thrown in, which I couldn't have negotiated myself. Maybe it depends on the broker and their relationship with the builder?

Yaar, so true! My experience has been the same. Brokers just want to close the deal, discounts are a total smokescreen.
