BTM Layout living: are the hidden cons too much to handle for empty nesters?
After 30 years in our big family home, it's finally time to downsize. Kids have moved out, so we don't need such a big place anymore; looking for something manageable. We're planning the resale of our existing property and hoping to move into a compact 2 BHK flat. I've been looking at BTM Layout, thinking it's central, but honestly, I'm not sure about the ground reality there. Brochures always paint a rosy picture, right? What's it actually like to live in BTM? How bad is the traffic during peak hours, really? Is it super noisy? We need a good society with an elevator and low maintenance costs. Proximity to a decent hospital is also a big factor for us. Are there specific societies or pockets within BTM Layout you'd recommend, or areas to avoid? What are the hidden cons nobody talks about? Is BTM Layout truly worth considering for someone in my position?
