Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing this process is, especially the negotiation part. I'm a first-time buyer looking in Faridabad, specifically Sector 35. I saw a project by Goyal Estate Agency, and the sales guy was pretty firm on pricing. My parents keep saying 'negotiate karo, kuch toh discount milega', but I felt like there was zero room. Is this normal? Matlab, builder says 'fixed price' toh kya seriously fixed hai? Yaar, how much negotiation is even possible on a new flat? Mujhe laga 5-10% toh ho jaata hai, but the guy just smiled. Should I try harder or am I wasting my time? Any tips for first-timers on how to actually talk them down?

Yaar, fixed price is mostly a tactic. I bought a flat in Sector 88 a year back, and after a lot of back and forth, they did give me a small discount on the parking. Don't give up so easily, but be realistic, 5-10% is tough now.
U8, usually parking pe 50k-1L tak adjust ho jaata hai, depends on the builder
Parking mein kitna discount mila tha aapko?
Totally relate! I'm also looking in Faridabad, Sector 37, and it's the same story. Builders just don't budge these days. Lagta hai they've all formed a cartel.
Sahi kaha. Current market mein demand thodi high hai Faridabad mein, especially for ready-to-move. Builders know this, so they hold their ground. Maybe try a project that's still under construction?
Exactly! Cartel hi hai. No transparency at all.
