Builder 'spot discounts' are a total scam, change my mind. I'm so fed up of renting, landlord ne rent badha diya phir se. Looking for a 2BHK in Electronic City, maybe Prestige Group. Builders bolte hain 'no negotiation policy' but brokers keep promising 'special spot discounts'. Matlab, is it real ya bas price inflate karke discount dikhate hain? My EMI vs rent math is finally working out, so I'm serious. Should I trust these broker promises? Lagta hai bas commission ke liye push kar rahe hain. Disagree? Tell me why.

Totally agree with the original post. These 'discounts' are just marketing. They hike the base price and then give you a 'deal'. I saw this with a project near Aavalahalli. They quoted me X, then after 'negotiation' it was X minus 50k, but I knew the actual market rate was even lower. Don't fall for it, it's a psychological trick.
