I work in real estate, but buying for myself, Sattva Lake Ridge mein water supply ka kya haal hai? Builder ne bola tank capacity acchi hai, par kitni tanker dependency rehti hai? Daily problems toh nahi aati?

My cousin bought a flat from the same builder (different project, near Begumpet) and faced similar issues initially. They eventually got it sorted after a lot of resident association pressure, but it took years. For Sattva Lake Ridge, I'd say check their previous projects' maintenance records, not just what they're promising for an upcoming one. Ask for detailed water source plans, not just tank capacity. Tanker dependency is a huge red flag.
Yes, you can complain to RERA, but the process is slow and often frustrating for individual buyers. RERA usually steps in for possession delays or major structural issues. Water supply, unless explicitly mentioned in the RERA registered documents with specific metrics, can be tricky to prove. Always get everything in writing, especially water source, capacity, and backup plans. Don't rely on verbal assurances.
So, if they don't deliver on water, can we complain to RERA or something?
Exactly! My friend in Ameerpet is also struggling with water in a new project. Builder promises high borewell yield, but after 2-3 years, it's all tanker water. It's a recurring theme everywhere.
2028 possession date is still so far, and with almost 900 units, water will definitely be an issue if not planned properly. Hyderabad mein summer mein water scarcity is a real problem, especially in developing areas. Market mein already itna competition hai, builders should focus on basics first.
Oh no! Builder ki reputation kaise hai overall? This is so stressful.
Yaar, this is my exact fear! I almost booked a flat near Gachibowli last year, and then found out from residents that they get tanker water almost every other day despite what the builder promised. For Sattva Lake Ridge, since it's upcoming (2028 possession, right?), how can we even verify these claims now? Koi insider info hai kya ki inka water management plan actually kya hai?
Yes, 2028 is the possession date. For verifying claims now, it's almost impossible without a strong RWA setup in their older projects. I visited their project near Alwal, and the residents there mentioned that while the initial few years were fine, as more people moved in, the borewell supply started dwindling, and they now rely on tankers a couple of times a week. It's a gradual problem, not immediate.
Sahi kaha, bhai. Insider info is tough to get. But from what I've heard, Sattva, like many big builders, often overcommits. I know someone who booked in their Banjara Hills project, and they had initial water issues too. It's a common problem across builders.
Totally agree with the post! Builders promise the moon, but ground reality is something else. Sattva has a few projects in Attapur, and I've heard mixed reviews about water there too. This is my biggest worry for my first home.
