posted on 3 MayBuying for myself: Real estate pro's Bangalore hunt
Sarjapur Road keeps coming up every time I shortlist something. I'm in real estate myself, but buying for my own investment feels totally different, you know? Looking at a 2BHK around Electronic City, maybe a Prestige project. Builders quote one price, but what's the *real* negotiation room in Bangalore? I know about super area vs. carpet area games, but how much can you actually push them on the base price? For pre-launch offers, are they genuinely cheaper or just marketing spin? Trying to maximize deal value and avoid those hidden charges at possession. Any off-the-record experiences on negotiation tactics?

Bhai, exactly my thoughts! Sarjapur Road is on my list too, but the prices after all those hidden charges... it's like a different ballgame. I'm also looking at 2BHKs, maybe near Marathahalli, and feeling the same pressure. Negotiation seems impossible with these big builders, right? Especially Prestige.
Haan yaar, Prestige toh sunte hi budget hil jaata hai. Negotiation ka toh pata nahi.
