Buying Pune property from abroad: My personal nightmare

I work in RE, but buying for myself from abroad is hell. Eyeing Godrej on NIBM Road for a 2BHK. What *actual* risks, hidden costs am I missing without physical visits? Virtual tours mislead.

Oh bhai, you're speaking my language! I'm also NRI and trying to buy in Pune. Godrej NIBM sounds good on paper, but virtual tours are so deceptive. What if they show one thing and deliver another? This is my biggest fear. Any tips on how to verify things from afar?

Totally agree with U1! Virtual tours are a scam sometimes. My cousin visited a project near Akurdi, bola 'zameen asmaan ka farak hai'.
