Chandigarh: Is RERA just for show when builders delay?
Was supposed to decide by last month but this RERA confusion is real. My wife's priority is safety and a good school nearby for the kids, so we're looking at Sector 49 or New Chandigarh for a 3BHK. Everyone glorifies Omaxe Gardenia Floors ya Manohar Singh and Company ki projects, but nobody talks about the *real* legal loopholes. Okay, I'll say what no one says: RERA is great on paper, but practically, kitna effective hai jab builder delay karta hai? Builder-buyer agreement mein itne red clauses hote hain jo sirf unko favor karte hain, aur hum sign kar dete hain. Agar builder ne possession delay kiya ya quality issue nikla, toh RERA complaint file karna kitna tough hai? Kya Chandigarh mein actually RERA effective hai ya bas paper pe? Change my mind. Disagree? Bhai, totally relate to your confusion! Hum bhi Chandigarh mein 3BHK dekh rahe hain, Sector 49 ya New Chandigarh side. RERA ka naam sunke lagta hai safety hai, but jab reviews dekho, toh sab delay aur builder tricks ki kahaniyan hi milti hain. Mera ek dost Omaxe Gardenia mein phasa hua hai, possession date pe date mil rahi hai. Kya karein samajh nahi aata.
