Chandigarh project security claims are just for show?
Did a site visit to Omaxe Gardenia Floors last Saturday and honestly, I'm a bit skeptical. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 44 and thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or maybe a villa, mainly for investment. The brochure security features sound great – CCTV, visitor management apps, gated community. But when I was there, the guards seemed pretty lax, and visitor entry felt a bit too easy. Is this just common in new projects? Does anyone actually find these systems robust after a year or two? For an investor, good security means attracting better tenants and maybe better resale, right? Also, what's the deal with parking there? Is it reserved, or a daily fight? Already have a home loan so don't want surprises. Is the premium for these so-called 'secure' projects even worth it if the actual implementation is weak?
