Chandigarh property buyers, share your hidden area cost lessons?
Sector 24C – my head is spinning after realizing something about the 2BHK I just booked. I thought I did my homework, but this super area vs carpet area thing is a complete trap. The agent kept quoting super area, and I honestly didn't understand the difference until the agreement. Now, the actual usable space feels way smaller than what I thought I was paying for. It's like I'm paying for walls and common areas I barely use. And on top of that, the stamp duty and registration are based on this inflated super area price, pushing my budget way beyond what I planned. Ab samajh nahi aa raha. My parents kept saying to check everything, but I had no idea this was such a big deal. Has anyone else faced this? What did you do? Should I have negotiated harder or walked away? Feeling completely misled right now.
