Not proud of this, but I kinda blindly trusted my broker when buying my 3BHK in Aerocity last year. Possession mili last month, ab settle ho raha hoon. Price toh sahi laga tha, around ₹1.8 Cr for a 3BHK. But ab lag raha hai, did I get the best deal? Broker ne bola tha he's getting me a spot discount, but I'm thinking, did he just mark up the price first? Yaar, direct builder se baat karne mein kuch aur savings hoti kya? Especially for resale properties in places like Sector 49 ya even Sector 24C, do brokers have more wiggle room? Or is it better to find owners directly? What's your experience with brokers in Chandigarh? Did they genuinely help you find underpriced assets or just push what gave them maximum commission?
