My landlord hiked rent by 12% last month, after 8 years of renting, I'm genuinely fed up now. Finally taking the plunge to buy in Chandigarh. I'm looking at Sector 49, maybe even Zirakpur because of budget. Builders like SBP Group and Sushma Buildtech have options. Is the resale market healthy for 3BHKs around ₹90 lakh? My main concern is future liquidity. Should I consider a plot in New Chandigarh instead for better long-term appreciation? Not sure about the EMI vs rent math anymore.

₹90 lakh for a 3BHK in Sector 49? That's quite ambitious, especially if you're looking for something decent with good amenities. Resale market mein options mil sakte hain but check carpet
Bhai, totally relatable! My landlord also hiked rent by 10% last year, aur yahan Chandigarh mein rents toh aise badh rahe hain jaise Bitcoin ho. I'm also tired of throwing money away on rent. Buying seems like the only logical step now.
